Can anyone point me to a book or website showing the above. Need to be fairly flay and 3 miles absolute max. TIA

There are loads! If you go into any bookshop/newsagent/walking shop in any town in the peaks you will be able to find what you want. We started off with a book called short circular pub strolls - does exactly what it says - the is also one about cafés too. We are in Derbyshire regularly only living 1/2 hour away so if you'd like any advice, just ask!

I don't have a link but the walks around Carsington Water and Ladybower Reservoir are easy and lovely.

Beware of the trails that are used by cyclists, they can be packed at weekends & school holidays
