1. Re: First time flyer , Monarch airline questions...

Have you looked on their website? All the information about check in, liquids etc is on there.

You can put your handbag in your cabin luggage for check in, security and boarding, and take it out once onboard.

You can take your own food through security, or buy it airside.

You can use your phone or tablet in flight, as long as it's in flight mode, or the wi-fi is disconnected. Do this before switching it off, and then its fine to switch back on and use inflight.

Your liquids bag has to be about 20cm x 20cm and hold no more than 1 litre. It needs to be resealable.

If you're not checking in online, just take your itinerary to airport check in
I've just got back from flying with Monarch and like Bernie says yes you can.

Be careful with your hand luggage though because I could take 2 pieces from the UK if the total weight was less than 10kg but they wouldn't let me take the two returning home. Luckily they allowed me to check my bag in FOC.
hi ummmm did you have a good time x
Hi Bernie. It was lovely, very chilled. Our party days are well and truly over :-) x
bit like us our partying holidays went long ago x
£7 for a litre of vodka. £1.90 packet of fags....
best not tell mrs c about vodka she'd buy a bucket full at that price
Don't forget that although you can take 1ltr liquids through, it can only be in containers no bigger than 100 ml. Liquids includes toothpaste, creams, hair gel, lipstick etc.
my son had a pack of custard creams confiscated on a flight to Innsbruck 2 years ago.

airport security said "they contained liquid".
You buy the duty free when you're in departures so can take 1ltr each on the plane.
