how will they know?
You could always cover yourself in gravy... or kitesurf there instead...
yes
If you are 0ºK you may have difficulty getting to your seat ;-)
Woofgang - you beat me to it ..... unless you have a really bad temperature ..... but then, you'd prob be that ill, you wouldn't actually want to fly :P
I think the mention of the Far East is referring to the fact that there are often random checks on arrival in some airports with a gadget that takes passengers' temperature. It's usually when bird flu is about

I think they have heat detecting cameeras do they not?
I have had to complete a health form entering some countries and the questions say do you have a cough and things like that. No questions about a temperature.
There are certain signs where a contageous disease is supposed to suspected - very high temperature, spots/rash etc and Port Health are supposed to be informed and meet the aircraft. I`m not sure how anyone would know unless you are taken in on a plane and your temperature is taken. Even then, it might just be a cold virus or something. In some Far Eastern airports, they "zap" you with a hand held gadget that they point at your forehead to take your temperature (it`s a random check). I don`t know what they would do if the temperature is high - probably haul you off to a side room for a bit of further questioning regarding any other symptoms.
"taken ill" (not "taken in")
