Am I in London, England?
As this person doesn't respond to any of his questions (not even a thank you), I'm not going to ask why he's asking them. If he's teaching English to foreign students he only has to say.
"Bonjour. Parlez-vous anglais?" would be a good start. When the receptionist replies, "Mais, oui" you can then carry on the conversation in English.

Well how about " I want a cheap Sheila for the night, can you organise this?"

The Hotel receptionist will probably speak less English than you do so don't worry.
A man books into a hotel and says to the receptionist '' Is the porn channel on the TV in room my disabled ?''
