Just got back from holiday and thought you would like to know that I took 2 bottles of wine, 1 of vodka and 3 1 litre bottles of lemonade in hand luggage and had no problems with any of them (though I did wrap each one in a polythene bag just in case!)

But the cabin crew serve drinks from the trolley from normal bottles (Coca-Cola, wine, champagne etc) so why should there be a problem with bottles carried in passengers' hand luggage?
