which resort are you thinking of going to? Most resorts have dozens of eating places. We never go all inclusive, we would hate to be tied to eating in the one place.
For all inclusive we go to the Bahai Principe. We've been 4 times
What ages are your children, robbieswife? Loads of good places to eat out there and a lot cheaper generally than in UK, so depends what you are looking for, really.
I like eating out but, after many years of avoiding All Inclusive, we tried one and I loved it- hence the reason we keep going back. But we like to do it for alternate holidays as we also like going out to different restaurants and bars at night
Where abouts in Tenerife will you be staying?
If you're after the best weather, avoid the north of the island, as that tends to get more cloud than the south.
What kind of budjet are you looking at? It works out quite a bit less to go all inclusive; but do you prefer to eat out, or are you not too bothered about being tied to one place?
Agree with Factor- we visited friends who were staying at the Bahai Principe and they thought it was great. Their boys were about 8 & 10 at the time. It's in Costa Adeje on the west coast- much nicer than Las Americas/Los Cristianos.
Go onto Trip Advisor Robb, many hotels with good reviews + the bad ones, If it's your first time, you will enjoy, plenty Pubs / cafes, the walk at the front go as far as Cristianos right through to Adeje approx 8 miles & all flat, if anyone has problems walking there are plenty of Mobility Scooters about, there are some Africans selling rubbish, just ignore them, the buses are Ex, there is a Sunday Market at Cristianos, its starts early & the bus fare is cheap, be very aware of your wallet / purse, it is known for pick pockets.
