...where you are? On the shores of Lake Ontario we now have about 7 inches and it's still coming down. Since it is a Saturday between holidays, the plows and salters are not exactly revving up for action. However, this will not deter me from plodding across the field to you know where later on:)

Rain here in Lincolnshire with the rivers steadily rising.
If this rain had come down as snow, we would be in severe trouble here.

Ahh, I don't know much of it but was in Hamilton for a bit, Burlington then Toronto itself. My friend was living in Aurora so went up there and round Newmarket and Fairy Lake and round Scarborough (I think) way - up to the zoo.
How do you cope with those long cold winters, stewey?

It's not really that bad where I am, Tilly. They have it a lot worse out West and up North. We get used to it just as you do to the constant rain and dampness.

For some reason, we tend to differentiate between snow-plows and agricultural ploughs.
Not cold enough here for snow. We are supposed to be getting some rain but its been sunny here for the last two days.I think rain is supposed to be here on monday now.instead.
