Just wanted to ask if anyone else been on these? I went across on the cable car to Greenwich and then took the clipper river bus up the Thames to the London Eye, it was really enjoyable. I was very surprised at the prices too, very reasonable... went with my brother, SiL, niece & nephew. We had a day out in London for a change and didn't spend fortunes which was nice. Visited the London Art Gallery (at Trafalgar Square) which was free entrance, a museum (again free), walked around London and took the above rides. As we had Travelcards they gave discounts on the cable car and river bus, so I can honestly say they were worth the money. Has anyone else been on these and what did you think?

I liked the cable car but not the queues - up to 20 minutes at N Greenwich for what they are trying to sell as a commuter trip (I don't think it will be). It's supposed to take 10 minutes but they hurry it up to 5 minutes when there are a lot of people (and I've tried in late morning which ought to be off-peak). Good value for money, though.

We got on the cable car about 2pm Sunday afternoon and only about 10 people infront of us so we must have been really lucky, only waited about 5 minutes before we boarded. Again the clipper river bus, we had to wait few minutes before it arrived and we got straight on. It must have been our lucky day, considering the weather was quite nice too. Mind you London itself was packed and the trains were packed too, due to many of the underground lines/services being closed down for 'planned weekend repairs & servicing'. We did walk alot as we find it just a quick to walk than to get to a station, climb on a train to go just 1 or 2 stops and we get to see much more of our wonderful city too :)
yes, that might have been it - the Jubilee line was closed on Sunday and that's the only one going to N Greenwich. Lucky you!

I'd like to go in the morning sometime and see the sun shining on the City.

I've been on the river bus but only in the evening, so I couldn't see the view as well as I'd have liked, but it's a nice ride.
