a day at the races

After a thoroughly entertaining day out at Newmarket last week (many thanks to Maidup for alerting me to the 'July Course' - very good indeed) I was pondering another excursion.

I don't have any fixed dates, so wondered if :

1. I could have some suggestions for good fun courses within a 'day-out' radius of Warwickshire

2. Whether there was any appetite for an organised AB outing to drink some beer and back some donkeys ?

I'm less familiar with courses close to Warwickshire, but will follow the replies with interest for next year's holiday.

How far is Hereford from Warwickshire? You might want to try that as there are only 12 meeting left this year and then they are closing it down.

Probably the nearest courses to you are Warwick or Stratford.
There is a Family Fun Day at Warwick on Bank Holiday Monday.
