Think I know the answer but, if you ae staying in Canada & want to visit the Outlet across the river, does it take ages to cross the border?

But it will vary according to the time of day and whether you are in a vehicle or on foot.

Went over the border last month by car and the process took, 45 minutes and that was on a midweek day. ie. less traffic. Probably one of the fastest crossings we have taken in the past five years, they have tightened things up, which obviously means takes more time. My advice is be prepared for an hours wait, be polite and keep cool. if it is the mall in Military Road you are talking about , or the Galleria Mall yes they are cheaper and yes they are worth a visit. Not too sure about walking over its a long trek if it is possible to walk.
