Central London to Southend Airport

Has anyone any experience of travelling from Central London to Southend Airport on Sundays. I understand that there can be engineering works at weekends. I hope to travel in late September, afternoon or evening. Advice appreciated. Thanks.

Currently the only planned service alterations are on Sunday 16th September.

Also there is a direct link from London Liverpool street to Southend airport I believe.

The railway is Greater Anglia (National Express). http://www.greateranglia.co.uk/ Click on "Planned Alterations" and then select month / day of travel.

Greater Anglia serves "Southend Airport" station. Stations served by c2c are several miles from the airport.

Yes, Greater Anglia runs from Liverpool St (and Stratford). More info here http://www.southendai...here/by-rail-abellio/ I live near to Southend Airport, now run by Stobarts, several people I know have been happy flying from it.

I've travelled from London to Southend several times... it's not a bad drive, the A127 can be a little busy at times though.
