taxi from palma airport to aludia

does anyone know how much a taxi is return fare from palma airport to alcudia?

not going to go if it is too pexpensive.

any replies and advice would be great.

it's about an hours drive so I imagine it would be quite expensive - maybe 50 euros each way

it's well worth hiring a car - the journey from palma up to alcudia via alta is quite nice and the drive all round formentor (past alcudia) is breathtaking

I thought it may be quite expensive as it is quite a long way.

It sounds lovely.

My sister and her husband went a couple of years ago but they had their transfer included with the holiday.

They said it was a lovely place to visit.

As mentioned by gaz_farr, car hire is a practical alternative. Last month I hired one for a week for about �120, which is around �80. Well worth considering, and driving there is a lot easier than driving in the UK.

Agree with gaz_farr and BenDToy. We hired a car before we went in April from Centauro who seem to be one of the biggest on the Island. Paid about �70 for a Micra (upgraded on collection to a Fiesta at no extra cost). At least then you'll have the car to use the rest of the time if you want. Drivings not to bad as long as you keep away from Palma. Suggest a visit to Soller.
