What to see in Barcelona/where to eat?

Anyone been recently? I know about the Gaudi stuff. Also has anyone eaten somewhere cheap but nice in the Eixample district?
Many thanks

There's plenty to see in Barcelona. Lots of Gaudi stuff but also lots of stuff to see that nothing to do with Gaudi (though personally I love the Gaudi stuff). You can easily google things to see in Barcelona, and if you're thinking of travelling there in the near future that I would invest in a guide book, they aren't very dear.
great views from Tibidabo
the Camp Neu is very nice.
The Picasso Museum is very good, I hadn't realised the breadth of his work, and 75m along the same street there's a very good tapas bar on the opposite side.
Get a day ticket for one of the "hop on / hop off" open top tourist buses. It's not something I would usually do, but works really well as an introduction to Barcelona.

The (relatively) new boardwalk area down by the port (beyond the Columbus Monument) is a great place to have a drink and some tapas on a sunny day - just sit watch the world go by.
i´m not a vegetarian, but there used to be a really good vegetarian buffet type place quite close to the ramblas, not sure if its still there, and not too pricey
