Has anyone been. I am planning a trip to Cornwall for a few days in a couple of weeks time and was wondering how much time to allow for visiting the Eden Project, 1/2 a day, a whole day, two days. Thanks.

Assuming that you have an interest in plants I'd say several hours from my experience. More than half a day but less than a full day. If it is cold outside wear layers because one of the domes is very hot and you'll need to be able to cool down.

If plants are not your thing and you just want to experience the project, you could do it quicker subject to the pace of the crowd at the narrow points on the pathways.

I was there 2 years ago, it is a really interesting place.  I suggest you take your time to take it all in.  Give yourself at least half a day.  Good advise from corganiser too.  One of the domes houses tropical plants and is very humid.  There is also a lot to see outside the domes, so at this time of year you will be going from very hot and humid to "bloomin freezin".

It depends on your interest in plants - and also the time of year, as there are lots of areas to look at outside the Domes too, but I'd guess these would take more time in the summer as they're going to be better stocked then.

I went in March last year and though busy, it was still quite comfortable to walk around. In high summer though I've heard it gets very crowded.

Unlike many tourist attractions, make sure you have lunch while you're there - the food is really good and very reasonable I thought. Think I'm right in saying that they adhere to the general Eden ethos and only use organic produce.
