Are the Tories trying to take the high ground by comparing their expense pay back to Labour's.

If they think they can somehow obtain favour from the British voter over this action, then I think they have shot themselves in the foot.

Does anyone think that any politician of whatever party would have voluntary paid back 'a penny' if they hadn't have been found out?
