How to get from Lake Garda to Nice

Hi, Could anybody advise the best way to get from Lake Garda ro Nice? Trains seem to be a no no

Lake Garda is 32 miles long and 10 miles wide, with 24 communes (spread across 3 provinces) dotted around its shores. So it might help if we were told where you were actually starting from!

I've checked the Nice airport website and there don't seem to be any direct flights from Venice, Milan, Verona or Brescia. So it looks as if you might be forced to take the train. The rail line passes along the southern shore of Lake Garda, calling at Peschiera del Garda and Desenzano del Garda. A typical journey (based on times for tomorrow) would be as follows:

Depart Peschiera del Garda 0933 (or Desenzano 0944)
Arrive Milan Central 1055

Depart Milan Central 1110
Arrive Nice Ville 1601
