Wasn't the option offered when you booked? Perhaps go back to whereever you booked.

There is usually the chance to upgrade, book seats together have an in flight meal or request not be be mercilessly beaten in flight.

They don't seem to miss the chance to relieve you of more money these days.

If the aircraft is configured with a separate section, you sit at the front with extra legroom, earlier boarding and a free drink. Obviously it also gives seats together and an in flight meal, without paying those supplements.

If it was not offered, i probably means it isn't available, or is fully booked. However I bet they will accept more money off you now, if it is available.

check what it involves, if they do have one. I bought an upgrade on Monarch last month. Turns out the seats were identical, all I got was a newspaper and free wine with my meal - not worth it. Other charter airlines do better, but don't make my mistake, do ask for the detailsfirst.
