Am I right in my suspicion that real ales on hand-pump (eg. Adnam's Broadside, Summer Lightning, Speckled Hen) are all one-by-one being reduced in strength?
If so and this is to do with our nanny-state deciding how we should drink - they can f---k off!

Speckled Hen has certainly been reduced on draught, I don't think the other two have, Broadside is 4.7% (it's 6.2% in the bottle but that version was always stronger) and Summer Lightning is the 5% it always was.
Last year's re-jigging of the tax bandings meant that some brewers reduced the abv of their beers that were just over 4.2% to just under to save money. Of course they passed on the savings to the punters ;-)
Greed King aren't a brewer any more but a money making rip-off merchants
