Sun holiday in October...

I hope anyone could give me some ideas... i had a holiday planned to Egypt Sharm El Shaik but thanks to the XL airways going bankrupt that doesnt seem so cheap anymore with Lastminute, Opodo and Expedia charging way more!
Could anyone advise somewhere to go for a long weekend break to get some sun... but not relatively cheap?

i,m sorry i cant help you,but i thought the prices would fall with the recession looming,but the price of flights now are outragious,its no surprise that folks are putting off traveling.

Yep, with the economy the way it is I think a lot of people are cutting back on holidays and travelling... I've looked at the offers UKNetGuide has through the ad below... some are really good... but still I'll be cutting back!
