Hmmm, thinking of going to prague with a couple of mates for a weekend.
Anyone know if its any good or how much i will be looking to pay? is it gonna work out better value to go for a week?

cheap, though no longer very cheap; hotels and restaurants are cheaper than London, say. I think it's wonderful, but I like baroque architecture; it depends what you're looking for. Still good for beer, bars and brothels, I believe.

i went with my friend 2 years ago in October. We got flights through globespan for just under £100 then we booked accom on botel albatross (google it). It was really cheap and a different experience. It was very basic but had a small clean bedroom with nice bathroom/shower and a basic continental breakfast. As previously said we did find prague cheap when there but not the penny pints that people had spoken about. had a great time though and would definitely go back sometime.
