Leicester - really overcast and chilly. Heating went on an hour ago! How on earth did 'he' crack his plaster? Hope he's ok.
The Summer Solstice happens at 6:34pm on June 20th in the Toronto area, so it's five hours prior to that for you. The longest period of daylight is indeed on Monday. For us, in hours, minutes, and seconds, it is 15:28:37.
I live in Wales, summer is going o be on a Wednesday this year apparently.

So just wet and windy here, I did manage to cut the grass yesterday, so I'm not complaining!
dull and drizzly all day
By the way, it's sunny and 32...Very nice.
The Druids are there tomorrow, to prepare for the morning after.
They need to be in place to not see the sunrise on the 21st, because of the rain. It seems to rain every year.

We have just put the heating on!.
Heating! Really? I'll send you a can of sunshine...For a price of course.

Hellywelly4, Mrs B and I went out last Saturday, left him at home as he wasn't really bothered about just going out for a drive. When we got home he had cut the grass and the plaster just couldn't take it.
Same as you on the Norfolk Broads Doc. Bright, warm and light breeze. It must have been Cut the grass in the East Day today, everyone was doing it! We did ours and cut back some rambling brambles.

I'm too worn out to cook now, we might have to go rumage in the freezer. Whatever we find will be followed by Norfolk strawberries bought from the stall yesterday. Its been a lovely weekend.
