Only watched it last night,

Did anybody watch it, and would you have allowed your kids to be one of the class.

Was a bit surprised when one of the boys, talked about ejaculating over a women's face etc, in front of everybody.

Wonder what his parents thought watching it?

Maybe they enjoy the same thing?

Seen bits of it.

Yes, I would let mine be involved. The Brits really should remove the stigma surrounding sex. Talking about sex and teaching our kids about it doesn't make them jump into bed with anyone.
I watched it and felt it was a much better approach to learning than getting their info from Porn - even the short experiment proved that
It sounds like that's where that youing boy got his knowledge from, Mamya.
Agree with mamya...it certainly made the point that lads in particular are getting all the wrong information.
One way of reducing unwanted pregnancies I suppose
She brought into the lesson ,respect, consent and pleasure - something a biological approach omits.

I thought the boys homework was fumy, given a razor and shaving cream to shave their pubic hairs.

Couldn't really see the point in that though.
They were asked when they chose the shaven ladies from the pictures (again based on their porn experiences) if they realised how uncomfortable and time consuming the process was - they didn't.

Hence the homework.
They were insinuating that women shave their pubic areas for the benefit of men and its not true. Many women prefer to shave or have a Brazilian and its not to please men its to please themselves and for hygienic reasons. It was giving the wrong message to the boys - its about choice and some women choose to do this, so do some men too.
Caught some of the programme. Seemed a lot of common sense. Sadly though the pupils seem to be well versed in some types of porno already: was amazed when the teacher posed the question as to whether it was acceptable to come on the woman and the girl who replied obviously assumed that would be over the face ! No doubt she won't be using the withdrawal method of contraception. Maybe just as well.
The main message I was left with after watching most of the episode, was the huge gap between what girls thought about sex and what the boys. It was obvious that watching porn completely consumed the boys lives.

I am not going to be pompous here. 50 years ago, when I was a teenager, there just wasn't any porn available, but if there had been, I and my age group would have been just as avid fans as these lads were.

( I seem to recall that all we had was a very well-thumbed copy of "Lady Chatterley's Lover" which was passed around the playground, and if you dropped the book, it always landed open at the same page ! )

But boys need to know that life is not like the porn industry. I am still unsure that this woman's approach is the answer, although I admire her for trying.
