My mobile phone keeps telling me to insert sim?......................................... ...

And there is a sim in it already. Yesterday it needed to be charged up. I pout it on to charge and late my husband just turned of off at the wall and the screen went black. I turned it off and on again and it just said insert sim. Took the back off and card out, gave it a clean and put it back. But still it says the same. Tried again by leaving it out for over an hour but still no l uck. Anyone know how I can get it back please.?

have you tried putting the sim in another phone, or another sim in your phone?

Take it to a phone shop and get them to have a look at it. Mine died completely last week, it had to go back to the makers for repair.

Try a factory reset.

I had the same problem yesterday and think it could be because I work in an area with very poor reception. In the end I took the battery out and then put it back in. I had to reset the time and date and then it was back to normal.

Many thanks to you all. I have tried it in another phone. Been onto T-mobile and have had to get another sim card. So without a phone until it comes.
