How can I remove the radio from an Astra without the proper tools. The radio in question has got a little hole on each corner and I've been told that there is a tool that goes into each hole to remove the radio.

But is there any way to do it using a coat hanger or something as it looks about the same sized holes?

Park it at the side of the road and leave it unlocked for the night, it will soon get removed without the proper tools :)

It is possible to use a coat hanger, but it's a lot easier with the proper tool and they are available from halfords for a few quid.

My mate reckons he can get them out with welding rods. Might give it a go.
