After telling the daughter about the great help I've been given on here, she asked if I could get some help for her (as she's my child she must get the sympathy vote)
Her boyfriend bought her a notebook for Xmas pre-loaded with 60 days trial for MS Office 2007.
He also bought her a keycard for Office 2010.
She thinks she needs a keycard for Office 2007 and the one for 2010 is useless..........is she right (I don't understand what she's on about)

Office 2007 and 2010 are two different products. I'd have thought she needs two different activation keys.
It's not useless, If she has a activation code for office 2010 then she can download office 2010 from here

Best to uninstall all the 2007 stuff beforehand.

Thanks Chuck........will pass the knowledge on :-)
It's going to be quite a large download, so make sure she doesn't try downloading it on a slow or heavily usage capped connection (such as a mobile broadband dongle)
