There is a good chance you'll snap the "deckchair" under the key, it is possible to remove them, but very fiddly. an Air duster would be a better idea to try first.

Thanks Chuck. Alternatively, I could just avoid using any words that have the letter between 'n' and ',' in them. :)

I think you can remove the keys, and then put them back without any damage. I did this myself by mistake the other day, and thought it was the end of the world. They just snap back into place with no harm done.

Agree with mercia re. cyber-clean. Was given a pot of it at Christmas; it's great at cleaning key boards, phones, mobiles, remotes etc.
