I have cancelled with Sky but am still using the box to view TV. I can only receive the free to air channels of course but on the viewing menus all channels I can no longer receive are still visible.

Is there any way of removing the channels that I cannot view leaving me only with the ones I can?

Thx.

No.

Didn't think so.
I've found an alternative way of doing it by adding the viewable channels to my favourites so that way I do only see viewable channels.

You use an OLD sky card (best one the blue card with small house logo on it) to unlock a few soft-encrypted channels like C5, etc.
Use the Blue button as said before.
If you can't find an old card, you pay £20 for another one from Sky.
Great money-making racket, really.
