sony reader

can anyone help please? had a sony prs-300 reader for xmas, followed instructions to instal library on windows, library and bookstore logos come up on screen but i can't get in to register my details. also are there any other places wher i can download ebooks compatible with this model? i believe amazon books are only compatible with the kindle. many thanks in advance. rem.

Not sure about registering details, I have a Sony 505 and didn't have any problems. Maybe a visit to the Sony website might be useful.
You're right about Amazon, but I have bought several ebooks from booksonboard.com and mybookstoreandmore.com. You can also pick up ebook collections cheaply on ebay.
