I have a sony walkman, costing £12? a few years ago!

Mine has packed up, and wonder where I can buy another , as it sends me off to sleep at night, and I'm lost without it.

Why won't you buy online pusskin? Just interested. I buy most things on line with no problems, far less hastle than shopping.

Good morning pusskin, I know your question asks particularly for a walkman but have you not considered buying an mp3 player instead? They're very small and have inbuilt batteries that last ages as well as you being able to put your whole music collection o without ever having to worry about where your tapes are or chewed up tapes.

I've not got the confidence to go on line, and have never been shown how to do it.. ( sad ay, haha)

pusskin it is so easy to buy on line. A lot simpler than going round shops. If you can come on AB then you will have no problem. Give it a try!

Pusskins It's not just music that you can put on an mp3 player, you can have stories or poems on it, motivational learning tapes, learn a language in fact anything verbal and with the new ones with screens you can have video and photographs. They're not too difficult to operate so maybe hint to someone that you wouldn't mind one for x-mas.

haha to me -- answerbank isnt being on line! I do it with my eyes shut.
I really must get into online soon, as I know its brilliant to use.
I have to be shown stuff , then I seem to be ok.
Wished now that the g/kids lived by, I could pester them.
I wished you were my neighbours, then I could bang on your doors too x lol

Try Maplins, they have stores in Romford, Ilford and Lakeside (Thurrock retail stores) and they have real people lol
