IPHONE 4 Facebook notifications

Does anybody happen to know why I'm not recieving FB notifications on my new Iphone 4. I have changed settings to recieve push notifications etc. but still nothing coming through.

i would be interested to find out too, both Mr CRX and i both have iphone 4s and each is set up same way, yet he gets notifications and i dont.

Must be something set in your main FB rather than the app

you may need to go into Iphone "settings" and scroll to the bottom and click on the facebook app, there you will see a push notifications option, click on this and it will reveal a list of push notification options

Done all of that and everything is on ON. It seems to be hit and miss, it works for some people, yet not for others. Same as with redcrx.
Strange, but its really annoying me now, and i can't find a solution as to why this is happening.

I turn off push notifications because it drains the battery so maybe it is a blessing ;)

I'm gutted, I used them on my Blackberry all the time :-(
Damn Apple products.........grrrrrr
