Cable TV

Hi - just wondering, does BT own & install the actual cabling and the service provider, ie Virgin, NTL, C& W, etc then rent it from BT or does the service provider lay their own cabling and we pay them direct?

Hope that makes sense!

The cable firms own and install their own cables. (If you look at the metal plates along the footpath, that provide access to the cables, you'll see the name of a cable company on them, not 'BT')
