If you have a sep' cable to the dish, yes.
You need multi room, then they are two totally separate Sky boxes that can record different things (4 different things at the same time if you want - two on each box).

Unless you have a decent size TV in your bedroom I would say you wont gain much by going HD, so could just get a normal Sky+ box which would be cheaper.

we have a communal dish in the sheltered flats in which we live. Sky say they only have one type of box.

Hi Even though Sky say they have only the I box you do NOT have to take the HD supply BE careful no point in paying over the odds.

in a mo, thanks for that info, Sky are not at all helpful. In my previous house I had Virgin, what a difference! Unfortunately no cable in this area.
MRsMURPHEY I agree Sky did not advise customers who ordered the HD box that it would not work with most of the older maybe 3 years old televisions, also SKY did not point out that although they advertised regarding the WORLD CUP in HD neither SKY Sports 1,2,3,4, carried ANY matches.BBC & ITV HD was FREE.

Remember go through everything as well as you can ,if in doubt ,ask here there are some extremely knowledgeable people on ANSWER BANK ,I have been helped many times .
Take Care If I can be of any further help ,please leave a message.
My son wants to do this in a flat where he lives, could he buy a second hand Sky+ box and be able to record different prog that his landlord does?
