HMDI to USB

Does anyone know if there is some small gaget that would allow me to connect my USB memory stick to. But then connects to HDMI slot of my LCD tv. My Tv is 2 years old and does not have a USB connection it has every other connection but USB.

The only thing i know of is a usb player i'm sure their are many different versions here is one take a look and see if this is what you require.http://www.expansys.com/d.aspx?i=1812

TV's that "play" pictures as a show usually take an SD card, or provide a USB port. My TV media box does.
Is this what you are trying to achieve?
