Is there such a device that can plug into my TV/vcr/sky box that will enable me to watch i player?I have already gone through one ps3 and dont have virgin OD or sky+.As the pc is a bit far from the tv (about 4 mt)and across the room so a wire is not an option, but if there is a gizmo out there that can,I would like to know please. Thanks Aya

Probably not the answer you're looking for but if you've got a Nintendo Wii, you can download the iPlayer app for free and watch iPlayer on your telly.
Failing that, you could always get a long HDMI lead (if your computer has an HDMI 'out' and your telly has an HDMI 'in'). I know you said a cable is out of the question, but it's an option.
This is very cheesy but informative....

A standard VGA cable between your PC and your TV will do the trick. I don't know the maximum length of cable available, mine is 1m but it allows us to watch I-Player on our large LCD tv. Cost is around £6.
