Hope you are all keeping warm .Freezing here but the snow has gone thank goodness .
Feel a bit more human today .Don't know if I caught a chilly in the tum yesterday or not but have been sprinting to the small room all night .
I went everywhere man yesterday . Farmers market ,Halfords ,Currys ,Poundstretcher and Moirrisons ,no wonder I felt rough and turned in early again .
But ...Bless dear little little children ..a new flatscreen teevee with all the bells and whistles on it we could wish for ,for Christmas !! Over the moon I am as our old banger is on it's last legs :) .
Neti I reckon you have arthuritis in your neck .I get the same . Does your neck feel crunchy when you turn your head at all ? Take yourself to the doctors and get an X- ray for peace of mind .

Hi all, actaully quite warm here, sorry to say

Just been out for a delicious lunch ( and only a cheap place) but the best I've had in years. Back in bed watching "Celeb - final" but I do know who won.

Thanks shaney I knew you would know what I have, it's normally crunchy but not at the moment although the pain from neck to inside head is awful, but I can still function! I've tried paracetamol, ibuprofen, and a muscle relaxante, and Hedex and NOTHING helps, any ideas, I am worried if I go to doctors then I'll need a CAT scan and just cannot get in those machines, but I can handle an x-ray,

Sorry folks my probs are nothing compared to yours, poor Mr Woofy, Mr s and poor old swedie, just hope things are improving for all of you. Actually I quite like you all!!!!(would say love but that sounds like a drunkard <<I love you all>>

They won't CAT scan you for it Neti .Well..I very much doubt it .They just Xrayed my neck .The sinovial fluid is going ( or probably gone ) and the bones grind together .You have to remember this is the top of your spine and if you have got arthruritis it can pinch the nerves and causes a headache or dull pain to go over your head .It'll probably go away and find another spot in your body to annoyyou before long Mine travels around .
Try not to worry .Go to doctor .

We are doing the tree on Wednesday, it's my job, and I always put the lights on first. I also have a small tree in Dining Room,. and the famous red one outside on patio. Actually they take hours to do and drive me crazy! I normally do it on the 15th but as hija id going to Brussels on 11th she wants it up!

Hi again. Son has been with my car. Gave me money for petrol and put a new headlight bulb in. I wasn't going to put my tree up this year. Just light round the fireplace but son said you've got to put your tree up so what do I do now.........
I would go to the Drs tomorrow Neti just to get his opinion and if you have to have a scan you may not have to go in the 'tunnel' one. I'm scared of them too but there is one like a 'polo mint' where they can do part of your body cos I had one for my lungs in one like that. .Hope you feel better soon and you too Shaney. It's all that dashing about. Hope Mr S and Mr W are getting on alright too.
That CB stuff was horrendous. What 'misfits' those people are. Usually there are some decent conversations but I rarely go on and make a comment. I feel too old for it to be honest.

I've never been in a tunnel, when I was in hospital many moons ago they'd just had a brand new scanner...and couldn't afford to man it. There was a time I wouldn't have gone in one but now I wish they'd put me through & not let me out until they'd scanned every bloomin inch.

Too old Jude? Certainly not but it's quite common to be ignored in there......

I am still getting dizzy spells which the doc says is positional vertigo!! But I still worry. Actually though, they are quite nice dizzy spells, not unpleasant at all. Just feel spaced out with them!!

Positional vertigo, that's a new one, but if it can be cured by lying down, it sounds worth having.

I've been dozing on and off all afternoon, kept trying to watch tv but missed most of it! (that'll be the lunchtime wine!)

When I had my shoulder problem they tried to scan me, but it took half and hour to try to get me in the machine but I suffer from claustrophobia and just could not do it, felt such a baby.

Think I'd better call the medico mañana if only to get reassurance and painkillers that actually work. Sorry jude, can't stand Led Zep although Mr N loves them!
