NAPA MP3 player

I bought one of those NAPA mp3 players, 128MB. It said on the box that its Mac compatible. It is easy to get songs onto the player from itunes, you just drop a playlist onto the icon in desktop. However, erasing the memory is proving impossible, I can delete tracks by dragging them to the trash but the memory stays maxed out. Is there anyone out there that can help?
