Hi, ive fitted 4 new sony speakers in my car but when i turn on the stereo and put it above a certain volume the sound goes very crackly as if there is some interference. ive checked that the speakers can cope with the wattage from the stereo and that is all fine. Any ideas what could be the problem?
TIA

sounds like you have a loose connection or wires touching together or to earth, either that or a faulty speaker

it seems to be 2 of the 4 speakers doing it, its hard to tell, I think your right on the loose connection thing, it sounds very possible as i did most of the wiring myself. :(
just make sure all the connections are tight both ends, if not probably a faulty speaker
