In Hotmail you can create groups of Contacts.

These groups seem to be called "Categories"

Is there a way to copy all the Contacts from one Category into a new Category?

(I want to create a separate Category, with some, but not all, the same Contacts)

Good God I'd rather go and vigorously wash my turkey instead...
not that I can see

You have to add them into the new category and delete them from the old one.

Do you have to add them to the new Category one by one ?
open hotmail, click contacts, then manage categories, click on the category you want to add the people to.

It should then come up edit details for {category name} in the larger of the text boxes start typing the persons name and a list will come up after the first letter or two, click the persons name, you can then start typinig the next persons name, click on them and so on until finished.

It sounds longer winded than it actually is!
