I have Vista on a Medion pc which has several "gadgets"available on a side bar one of which is a clock.Lately more often than not the time is way out, this isn't critical, but I just wondered what could be the cause,Correcting it is no problem but it only goes astray again.Any ideas please???

clocks on 'puters have always been rubbish

but at least one of the default windows time servers only seem to work once a year

double click the clock (bottom right - not the gadget bar)

you'll see something like time.windows.com

just overtype with

uk.pool.ntp.org

see how you go with that
If Ac's tip doesn't work consider changing the CMOS battery on the motherboard. Your symptoms could be a failing battery.

The Clock which you add from Gadgets to your Sidebar should automatically adjust itself to the correct time and correspond to Digital Clock in Taskbar. Mine does.
