Eureka, reset password instructions from hotmail and have got all my contacts back....BUT

"Your mail is being forwarded to another e-mail address. To stop forwarding your mail, go to Options."

This comes up above the tool bar and when I go to Options, nothing seems appropriate. Where have my emails gone to , how do I stop it and how do I get them back?

click option up in top right corner in hotmail and select more options, about the 5th option down on the next page is "forward mail to another email address" click that and disable it..

publish the email address it's been forwarded to if you want, may as well get it overloaded with spam :)

BTW..

When you click on options > more options the bottom link on the next page is "export contacts"

use that to back your contact up so you don't lose them again if you have a problem.

How did you get your password reset in the finish?

Have you tried reaching your Hotmail account from another computer? Could be your regular pc is corrupted.

AC/Chuck...you have both been 5star.....back now into my hotmail account....Thanks.

I have lost a week of redirected emails and wonder if there is anyway of finding out the account name and password.......not that I am too bothered now I have my contacts back.
