Intruder alarm sounds on entry

I have installed an Honeywell Accenta/Optima burglar alarm. 3 zones in use, zone 1 front door mag contact set to timed, zone 2 hall PIR set to inhibit, zone 3 lounge set to immediate, exit mode set to final door. All works fine except when you return to house alarm goes off before you can enter code. It is as if the zone 2 hall PIR has not been set to inhibit but I have checked and it is correctly programmed. Any idea how to fix?
