printer problem

All of a sudden my printer refuses to print out any graphics/illustrations only the written word - any ideas why? Thank you.

Have you 'played' with the settings/preferences at all lately?

Try printing some text in colour, if that works at least it is unlikely to be the hardware.

Helpful hint for the future........ with a question such as this it is always a good idea to include the printer's make, model no. and the O/S you are using.
There are some real experts on here and are likely to recognise problems associated with certain models.

Dear Wildwood, Thanks for your help, the printer is quite an old one Epson Stylus C44UX, the mechanics are alien to me. My friend re-installed Open Office and Word for me and ever since I have not been able to print any graphics or pictures. Green Dragon.
