right click, copy - go to address bar. left click and then when the current address turns blue (or whatever) right click and select paste.

Make sure your default browser i set correctly

if you use IE then click on the tools menu, select internet options and then click on the programs tab at the top. then click the make default button about half way down. then try a link in a mail again.
