I passed the (UK) Radio Amateur's Examination 37 years ago but never got round to learning Morse code. I was only ever really interested in DX-ing, rather than the local VHF/UHF stuff that a 'Class B' licence would have permitted me to do. Unfortunately, I've never had the finances for a good HF transceiver or the space to erect a decent antenna.

Maybe I'll win the National Lottery jackpot one day and meet you on the airwaves ;-)
(As an SWL, I used to concentrate on the 40 metre band because it provided more reliable propogation conditions than 20m and better DX than 80m).
