Hello
I use MSN Explorer and when I put a search in the browser bar it gives me hints to what I may be typing based on what I have searched for before. This is OK but allows others to know what I have been looking at (nothing sinister I promise). Does anyone know how I can delete the browser history from the browser bar.
Thanks for reading this

I think you go to tools on the top right hand corner of the browser. click and on the menu will be delete history, click on this and your history should be deleted.

Thanks Shakin but there isn't Tools on the browser page
try the top menu bar

Tools arn't anywhere on the page ar all.MSN don't seem to have tools!
You must have a menu bar at the top of your screen, a little house (home page) etc, tools should be on this bar.
Start, Control, internet Options, Delete Brousing History, delete Tempory files, Cookies, saved pass words, and Web Information.

Thanks for all your answers unfortunatley this dosn't work. I think the problem is that I am using MSN Explorer not internet explorer. On my MSN page there is no tools.I have been to Start >Control etc and done all that but it dosn't clear the prompts on the search bar of the MSN browser.
I guess I''ll have to live with it but hate to be beaten.
you can clear them on at a time by just pressing the down arrow to highlight each on and pressing delete
