I've created some minutes from a meeting and need to put in an "Action" column on the righ hand side but I cant do a margin release (as on the old manual typewriter). What can I do please?

You can do columns quite easily, by pressing Format then Columns. You can then resize them horizontally, and if you've gone onto a second page and want to push all the text out of the second column you can click in the top of it and click Insert > Break > Column Break. Using tables often makes writing across multiple columns and lining text up easier, and you if you like you can make the cell edges white so it's not like a grid.
If you mean you want the blank area on the righthand side AFTER printing just move the margin in by the amount of space you require.
