Do you still have to have a dish on the outside of your house

No it is not compulsory.

If you have not got Sky you do not have to have a Sky dish.

(Assuming you DO want Sky then yes, it has to be on the outside, it needs direct line of sight to the satellite)

Thank you vehelpfulguy, I guess I didn't explain very well. I am looking into getting sky but can't have a dish as the landlord wont let me. Got a freeview box but wanted to watch the sport. Oh well back to the drawing board
