Recovering old email address

Anyone know if it is possible to recover a old email address, I had a email adress about 2 years ago and I forgot about it and ended up opening an new account with yahoo.
I have recently tried logging in to my old email account but it dosnt seem to work. I never closed my old email address so it should still be active.

is there anything I can do to open it back up.

Do you still have your login details for your old account? If you've forgot your password, there should be a button to send you it again.

Many email hosts delete addresses that have been dormant for a long time.

If that is the case, there is nothing you can do about it

my oldemail address may have been deleted them because I think I still know my login details.

just tried opening my old emal account again and my account login details came up when I logged in so my email account must still work but when I tried clicking to check my mail it wouldnt do it.

Anyone know what the problem is.

Possibly they have deleted your mail if it was 2 years old.
