taskbar

Please can anyone help me, my computer blew and my son has transferred my hard drive to his old one, but I have no bar at the bottom (taskbar)so cannot minimise or see when anyone is on msn, please can anyone tell me how to get it back? thanks/

if you move the mouse right to the bottom of the screen does it turn to a double arrow?

if it does just hold down the left button and move the mouse up a bit and it will drag the task bar back onto the screen.

Hi many thanks for your reply, unfortuanately no it doesnt, ive even made it all smaller in the hope I could see it, somebody advised pressing the button with the window on it, that didnt work either, is it possible to loose it completely???
