I have good recep to 5 and some channel; 11;31 sky news. On others, I seem to get a lot of static. Can I improve this. I have a topbox aerial in me roof.

Disco Fever

An old analogue aerial will pick up a good analogue signal in your attic but you might need a new digital aerial put up and it's better to put it up outside in the free air as you will get a better signal, an analogue aerial will pick up digital signals but not as well as a digital aerial. The new digi aerials start at about �15 so don't get ripped by an aerial installer saying you need one of them �75 yellow ones as they do the same job as the �15 one....

Ok Thanks for that. I have quite an old topbox, so I think I will invest in anew one. Prices are well down since I made a purchase.
